Nessie flopped down onto her bed. She leaned up against the blue pillows and looked out the large windows that lit up her room. She stood back up and went over to the side table and rearranged the pictures that she had on the table so that they were all visible. She went out to the balcony and propped herself onto the railing so that her feet were dangling over the edge.
She loved the room her grandfather had given her. In her opinion it was the greatest room in the house. It had the best view of the mountain range, and the balcony completely overhung the rest of the house so that she could dangle and get the adrenaline rush that she loved. It drove her parents crazy, but she couldn't understand why. It wasn't like falling would do a whole lot of damage. I think they was just afraid that someday it would get her into some kind of real trouble that could cause real damage, but Nessie knew better she wasn't one to take overdone risks. She like to do it just so. She loved climbing and being up high, and she loved hanging from great heights.
After a minute or two of just staring at the mountains she carefully climbed down so that she was hanging by her hands underneath the balcony. She swung herself back and forth until she got enough momentum to leap to the balcony of Alice's room next door. She loved swinging across the balcony's it gave her a great view of what was happening in the house.
